WHO AM I ?

Hi, Dierdre Rae!

I'm a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor, life coach, and body-confidence coach with Canadian, American, and Irish citizenship. I hold a Communications degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and I've had the privilege of studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Stirling University in Scotland, and University College Dublin in Ireland!


Let me share a bit about my journey. Growing up with ADHD and undiagnosed OCD, I faced significant challenges, including three different eating disorders, body dysmorphia, anxiety, depression, exercise addiction, and daily panic attacks. I left college in 2017 and spent a month in the hospital—an experience that became a turning point. From that moment on, I committed to my healing and growth, not just as an individual but as a coach dedicated to helping others.


In 2017, I struggled to even leave the house. Today, I've traveled solo around the world, living in multiple countries and on different continents. Along the way, I've tackled some of my biggest fears and bucket list dreams, from skydiving and bungee jumping to getting scuba certified, running a marathon, and returning to college to graduate early with honors. My personal motto is: If fear or anxiety is the only thing standing between me and something I want to do (not money, safety, etc.), then I have to go for it.


I'm sharing this with you to remind you that no matter how lost or hopeless you may feel right now, change is possible. I've been through the darkest of moments, feeling like things would never get better-but I know now that it's possible to make it through, and you can too. I'm here to support you, guide you, and show you that there's always hope.


Whether it's building a positive relationship with your body, achieving your fitness and nutrition goals, or overcoming any obstacles in your path, I want to support you every step of the way. What’s your health & fitness ethos?

My goal as a coach is to help you expand your world, not shrink it. I believe in incorporating things into your life, rather than taking things away. There are countless paths to achieving your goals, and I truly believe health is not a one- size-fits-all approach—it shouldn't be treated that way. You are an individual with your own unique goals, ambitions, dreams, and challenges. That's why I'm committed to providing programs that work with you, not just for you. I want to give you the tools and support to create a plan that fits your life and helps you thrive on your own terms.


If you're not enjoying what you're doing, you won't stick with it. Why do I stay active? Because I do what I love.


It's also about learning to listen to your body—knowing when to push yourself and when to rest. Some days, I walk into the gym and end up taking a walk instead. Other days, I start unmotivated but leave with a new personal best! When it comes to nutrition, I enjoy chocolate or something sweet every day— balance is key. I follow the 80/20 rule: 80% of the foods I eat are nutrient-dense, energizing, and leave me feeling good and full. The other 20% I play around with. That's why my program includes things like Oreos, Reese's, and fun dessert alternatives. I am a strong advocate for listening to your body and promoting food and fitness freedom.
